Dear Brenda & Tonya, I saw your blog via FB and have read several posts! You're both amazing and inspiring to us other chubby girls out there! I like reading about your ups and downs because I have them too! Some days I think- 'why did I just eat that candy bar, I'm not even hungry?!' I have been working with a personal trainer since August, 2010. (Ugh) And I have found what he's told me is true; 90% of weight loss is what you eat and 10% is your actual consistent exercise. Which is really tuff because I love, obsess, & think about food all day. I love food because food never judges me. I have lost inches but not weight (more Ugh). I keep telling myself that I didn't become 40 pounds overweight in a month, or a year or even two years. I have consistently gained 35-40 pounds over the last 5 years, so it's going to take awhile and I just have to keep at it! [One tip that helped me; I get the Shape magazine and there are inspirational stories of women who have lost weight the slow, hard, right way of eating well and exercising- I tear out their stories and pictures and post them where I can see them and think; "If they can do it, so can I, because I can do hard things". Love you both- keep up the good work. I hope to see you skinny Bitches at UBIC. And I mean skinny, because if I can do it- so can you! Love Jules Eldredge (Stephen's wife)
